For more than 15 years, the Yard of Ale has served the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, and queer communities of the city of Boulder, Boulder County, and Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

The Yard is the perfect place to meet friends for after-work drinks or to spend an evening dancing and drinking with new friends. There are lots of bars, pubs, and nightclubs in Boulder and Denver, but there's nothing quite like a night at the Yard of Ale!

Our space features a dance floor, two pool tables, a dart board, and two touch-screen video games. Our bar is stocked with a large selection of top shelf and well liquors. Our beer selection includes more than 20 bottled imports, domestics, and local brews, and we have four beers on tap, including New Belgium Brewery's Fat Tire, Coors Light, and Bud Light. Order your favorite drinks or let our friendly bartenders create their mouth-watering cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.

Friday night iPod party

Bring your iPod to the Yard every Friday night to play your favorite songs and listen to your friends play theirs.

The Yard's Friday night iPod night is the perfect time to share your latest mixes and musical finds. Whatever your musical taste, you'll get your 15 minutes of musical fame.

Did you know the Yard hosts parties, social group events, and live entertainment? If you're planning an event but don't have a place to host it, host it at the Yard!

We have a DJ, a stocked bar with top shelf and well liquors, bottled domestic and imported beers, and four beers on tap. Our building boats a large dance floor and a screened-in outdoor patio. We have two pool tables, two touch-screen video games, and a dart board.

If your gathering brings more than 20 people, you'll get $25 in free drinks at the bar.

Join us every Thursday at 9:30 pm till close for Boulder's best karaoke night! There's no cover charge and no cost to sing songs from our enormous menu of music. If you're looking for fun things to do in Boulder on Thursday nights, you've found what you're looking for!

Tuesday night pool tournament

Join us every Tuesday at 7:30 pm for our weekly pool tournament. The entry fee is $5, and all money goes into the winners' pots. Pool players drink for Happy Hour prices all night long!
